evil stepmother..extreme
On my must read list: "My Lobotomy" by Howard Dully.
Dully chronicles his experiences after a lobotomy. His evil stepmother orchestrates the surgery because.. I guess she just didn't like him much and his dad was a wuss and let her.
I think the most shocking part of this audio story is Dully's father.
His response to why he allowed this happen was "she did it" and "It was the stepmother problem".
and when he is shown the photos of the procedure and asked if he feels regret he says:
" that's negative and I don't swell on negative ideas."
" I try to be positive"
"Nobody is perfect"
and
"I could say this was a mistake but so is World War One a mistake"
"It was an unpleasant part of (ahem) MY life".
I suppose one could consider allowing someone to stick an icepick in your child's eye sockets in an effort to destroy their personality could be considered an "oopsie" to some...
but not in my book.
I guess evil comes in many many flavors..
