it takes a strong man to stand by strong woman
Based on anecdotal evidence I think that alot men have a problem with successful women.
I thought this was just my observation but apparently this is a big problem.
Making more money than a man,
having a bigger job title
a more exciting career
seems to kill the attraction for men.
I think of a Sex in The City episode where the character Miranda realizes telling men she is attorney (a Partner no less) leave men cold but when she lies to a man she meets at a speed date and says she is a stewardess he gets very interested in dating her.
You can't win.
Where are the self confident men at? The ones without massive egos that require constant feeding..
Ethan Hawke says his wife success ruined their marriage.
